There is a very large delta between “been there, done that” and now.
Knowing the mentality of our forefathers and the actions they took or didn’t take during times of civil upheaval is demonstrably more effective than blindly taking action with no foundational knowledge. Not only in civil upheaval is this true, but it can also apply to pouring cement or maneuvering a garden tiller or even changing the brakes on your car. You get the picture.
Leaning on yesterday’s knowledge in today’s endeavors can alter your results from happening far in the future to realizing fruition closer to today…with almost warp speed.
It’s unfortunate it took me this late in life, a grown man, to realize my father’s shoulders are still broad enough to stand on from his actions from yesteryear, but I’m fortunate he is still willing to support me.
